Mr. Imad O.
Asfour is a Chief Risk Officer at Invest Bank and a Chairman at Al Mawared for Brokerage.
He is on the Board of Directors at Al Imdad and Tamkeen Leasing.
He has over 20 years of banking experience.
He joined Invest Bank in 2013 as Chief Risk Officer with additional oversight of the risk functions in its subsidiaries.
Prior to joining the Invest Bank, Mr. Asfour set up the Credit & Risk Group in the newly established Jordan branches of Al-Rajhi Bank covering Corporate and Retail Credit as well as Risk whilst extending his expertise to include Islamic Banking.
During his long tenure in banking, he has worked on both the Business side starting as an RM in Citibank Jordan and on the credit and risk side in local as well as international banks.
As an Executive Manager, he headed the International Division of The Housing Bank for Trade and Finance, overseeing their international operations in Palestine, Syria, Algeria, and Bahrain.
At Standard Chartered Bank Jordan, he managed the corporate credit function for both Jordan and Lebanon, and was seconded on numerous assignments to other geographical locations.
He has a B.Sc.
in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, as well as a MBA and Masters in Computer Engineering from Boston University.
