Diverse Energy Limited (Diverse Energy) is a manufacturer of clean, modular fuel cell systems. The company was formed in 2007 as a result of merger of Alternative Fuel Systems Ltd (AFS) and Fuel Cell Control Ltd (FCC). Diverse Energy principally engages in developing, assembling and selling fuel cell based power plants. The company provides PowerCube fuel cell system which is an anhydrous ammonia-fueled, baseload fuel cell power system. The Power Cube fuel cell system consists of anhydrous ammonia tanks, ammonia cracker, twin PEM fuel cell systems, power and atmospheric conditioning equipment, and a 24-inch telecoms rack. Currently, the company is in the process of developing power plants to replace diesel generators for off-grid cell phone towers in developing countries without a secure electrical grid. In 2009, the company worked with the Centre for Process Innovation, based in North East England, for the development and testing of the new technology. Further, the Enterprise Europe Network for North East England assisted Diverse Energy in preparing their proposal to help secure the finance they required.

The Group's principal activity is developing and manufacturing portable fuel cell systems for use as mobile generators and battery chargers. Products include automatic battery charger, remote battery charger and battery box. The Group operates predominantly in the United Kingdom.
