He also held the position of President, Chief Executive Officer & Director at Athabasca Potash, Inc. from 2009 to 2010.
He served as the Non-Executive Chairman at True North Gems, Inc. from 2012 to 2017 and as the Lead Independent Director at Peregrine Diamonds Ltd.
from 2011 to 2018.
Prior to that, he was the Vice President-Exploration at Homestake Canada, Inc. from 1982 to 1992.
Mr. Boyd obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1975.
