Veenman is currently the Chairman at Boost Child & Youth Advocacy Centre.
She also holds current positions as an Independent Director at Royal Gold, Inc., Major Drilling Group International, Inc., and NexGen Energy Ltd.
In addition, she is a Member of the Ontario Bar Association since 1989.
Ms. Veenman has previously served as an Independent Director at Ring of Fire Metals from 2015 to 2020, and at IAMGOLD Corp.
from 2015 to 2021.
She was also the Senior Vice President & General Counsel at Barrick Gold Corp.
from 2010 to 2014.
Prior to that, she worked as an Associate at Fasken Campbell Godfrey from 1989 to 1994, and as the Secretary & Associate General Counsel at Lac Minerals Ltd.
from 1989 to 1994.
She also held the position of Secretary, VP & Assistant General Counsel at Barrick Gold, Inc.Ms. Veenman obtained her graduate degree from the University of Toronto in 1987.
